MISCONDUCT/ABUSE BY ADULTS AGAINST YOUTH
BC Soccer believes that the safety and protection of all youth is paramount as we look to foster and develop the game in British Columbia; therefore, would like to inform the membership that BC Soccer will be taking a more steadfast approach to incidents of misconduct and/or abuse by adults against youth.
As a part of this, BC Soccer has updated and renamed its Discipline/Sanctioning Policy. Please be sure to read the full communication attached (Dec 8-2015 – BC Soccer Stance on Alcohol at Youth Events) (or visit bcsoccer.net) for details.

Metro Coaching Criteria for Intake Year 2016/2017
- Recruiting and evaluating prospective players.
- Planning practices.
- Developing game plan.
- Player development and evaluation.
- Availability to train out of multiple locations within the partner clubs.
- Scout players with the club Technical Directors .
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of soccer skills, strategies.
- Ability to conduct game related actives.
- Good interpersonal skills with young players and coaches.
- Soccer for life/B prep.
- Metro /Gold coaching and/or playing experience preferred.

The DYSA is looking to hire a paid Administrator for the Delta Coastal Selects. The Delta Coastal Selects’ teams participate in the Metro Select League (“MSL”) which organizes and operates competitive boys’ and girls’ leagues for the second highest level of play for youth soccer in B.C.
The Administrator is responsible for the registration and administration tasks associated with all DCS players (12 teams). The contract is a one-year paid position. Workload varies from month-to-month based on the busier registration months. This home-based position has irregular hours, and some weekend and evening work required.
