What an unbelievable season our U15 DCS boys have had! We trained and played a season in the craziest of weather conditions. Over the course of the last 11 months we hit it all – rain, snow and blistering heat – with endless determination and one unified goal in mind … to bring home the Provincial A Cup to the Delta Coastal Select Club.
This year with unwaivering support from our parent group, the boys strung together a virtually flawless season. A big shout out to the supporting staff of professionals at DCS. Thank you for the technical support and encouragement you gave to us as coaches, and to the boys.
Lastly to the U15 DCS boys – you went at it all season with character, passion, respect, determination and crazy energy!!
Congratulations to the four DCS Teams that participated in the Provincial A Cup Championships this past weekend. Your efforts to make the Provincials were fantastic and your results were equally terrific.
U14 Girls (coached by Gord and Jonathan) – Gold Medal Provincial Champions
U16 Girls (Sting) (coached by Kevan, Wayne and Paul) – 4th place finish
U13 Boys (coached by Emad and Simon) – Bronze medal; 3rd place finish
U15 Boys (coached by Joe and Rob) – Gold Medal Provincial Champions
These results are fantastic for the DCS program and all the partner clubs under its umbrella. Congratulations to the players and coaches.
Samantha Kaltenegger (part-time model, DCS Soccer Player and all round great personality!) is in the latest Nike commercial featuring the US Womens National team. Samantha is featured in snips throughout but probably the best one is at the 43 second mark when she is crossing the ball and 48 second mark when she is riding the team bus (front seat left side). Congratulations Samantha!
