Third Annual DCS U18 Metro Girls Showcase Game (Fri, December 4)

Our U18 Metro Girls – DCS ’98, DCS ’99 Sting & DCS ’99 Attack – would like to invite you and your team to come out and support our girls as they play the Third Annual DCS Girls College/University Showcase game.  This event takes play on Friday, December 4.  Kick-off at 6:30pm at South Surrey Athletic Park (Turf Field #10).

Local College/University Coaches will be attending to scout our girls for possible interest/fit into their respective Soccer Programs.  Last year the game led to a lot of interest and opportunity for our players. It was a great success and we hope for similar results this year.

A tremendous start to the season for the U-13 DCS Girls at the SX Cup!

A tremendous start to the 2015/2016 season for the U-13 DCS Girls at the SX Cup! The team went 3-0 through round robin play, all three games were very hard fought, close games, with the team allowing only one goal against, with Emily  recording two shut outs.

2015-Sept-U13GirlsIn the semi final played very early on Monday morning, the girls controlled most of the game vs. Vancouver United and finished the game 3-1 winners.

In the final vs. Surrey FC Pegasus, the girls defended very well, holding off the very strong League rival for most of the contest.  But the girls seemed to run out of gas near the end of the game, and conceded a late goal on a goalmouth scramble.

It was a fantastic weekend for this first year metro select team, who now move onto their first metro season together, hosting that same SFC Pegasus team in their first league game.
