Emma Tait & Matthew Rachman Metro League MVP’s

Every year the Metro Select League honours one female and one male athlete in each divisional age group with the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP). These stand out players are voted on by opposing team coaches. Delta Coastal Selects is very proud to announce that two of our amazing young athletes have been named as MVP’s for the Metro Select League 2017-2018 season.

Emma Tait
DCS U15 Girls
School: Seaquam Secondary, North Delta
Previous Club: SurDel
Position: Striker

“Emma has been a force all year long and is a well deserving winner of the League’s U-15 Most Valuable Player award. Whether it is running at a full back with the ball, her willingness to play aggressively in all areas of the pitch and her leadership on and off the field I can see why other Head Coaches selected her as this years recipient. As team captain Emma leads by example and her 29 goal season is shadowed only by what a fantastic young lady she is.”                                                            Kevan Cornes                                                                                                                    DCS U15 Girls Head Coach

Matthew Rachman

School: Vancouver College

“Matthew is an extremely dedicated athlete and a fantastic teammate! It is nothing short of awesome for him to be recognized by all the teams in our league as the MVP!  A great accomplishment…..Well done Matthew, the lads of Delta Coastal Selects are very proud of you!”                                                                          Mike Richards                                                                                                                DCS U17 Boys Head Coach
